A company under Tunisian law, officially licensed and based in the heart of the Sahel, in Sousse, Hammam-Sousse and Hergla, it is run by an international team of Europeans of Tunisian origin living in Tunisia, who combine in-depth knowledge of the country with long experience gained in France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain and elsewhere in Europe, in industry, communications and real estate.
Working alongside them are French, Tunisian, Belgian and other European staff, fluent in French, Italian, English, German and Arabic: a real asset for foreign buyers, expatriates and international investors who wish to settle or invest in Tunisia. The agency also relies on a network of local professionals whose reliability and expertise have been proven.

Why a licensed agency?
A regulated profession in Tunisia
Working with a licensed real estate agent is essential to secure your purchase, sale or rental. The profession is regulated in Tunisia: only an agency holding a professional card issued by the Ministry of Commerce may legally act as a property intermediary. Entrusting your project to an unlicensed intermediary exposes you to serious risks (disputes, financial losses, legal defects).
Home in Tunisia is an officially licensed real estate agency, operating legally since its creation on 5 January 2009, in accordance with Tunisian regulations:
Law no. 55 of 1981
Law no. 55 of 23 June 1981 on the organisation of the real estate agent profession (still in force), supplemented by Law no. 77 of 8 August 2005.
Professional card
A valid professional card issued by the Ministry of Commerce: a mandatory legal requirement to act as a property intermediary (sales, rentals, brokerage, management, syndic) in Tunisia.
Tunisian law severely penalises practising the profession without a licence: closure of the premises, a fine and a prison sentence, without prejudice to the application of the Criminal Code in the event of fraud.
Its promise: you will never deal with a “chance” intermediary. Every transaction is handled by licensed professionals holding a valid professional card, in strict compliance with the law, for your security and the protection of your funds.
Our story
2008
The idea of Home in Tunisia was born in 2008, at property fairs in London aimed at British buyers looking for the sun, where Morocco, Spain, the French Riviera, Cape Verde, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt were represented, but not Tunisia. This gap gave rise to a project: to create an agency specialising in assisting people of all nationalities who wish to settle in Tunisia.
2009
Officially founded on 5 January 2009, the agency has drawn on a dual culture, European and Tunisian, to stand out in the market, with a real understanding of how things are done on both sides of the Mediterranean.
Today
Its website quickly became one of the most visited sites on the Tunisian real estate market, and it keeps being developed to better meet its clients’ expectations.
A young company at its start, Home in Tunisia now has 11 staff at its head office in Hammam-Sousse, supported by its agencies in Sousse and Hergla, and an established network throughout Tunisia: more than 160 partner agents, 50 developers and a portfolio of more than 13,000 properties across the country.
The agency has specialised in the sale and rental of hotels and tourist properties in Tunisia, the Mediterranean and Africa, as well as in commercial and industrial real estate, the development of agricultural land and farms, and co-ownership management (professional syndic).
In the short and medium term, its goals are clear: to develop its own network of agencies throughout Tunisia and to strengthen its market share, already significant in the Euro-Tunisian area.
